If the Willson you refer to is in good shape, $3800 is money well invested. I own a Willson EEb and wouldn't trade it for anything (I traded a converted smaller York CC and Meinl-Weston F for mine). It continually amazes me with its response in all registers and ability to project solid sound. If anyone had told me I'd be playing mostly EEb a few years ago, I would have thought they were nuts. I knew after an hour in a practice room with the Willson that I'd be owning one. I feel like I'm cheating everytime I play it. I have not played on the comparible Bessons, but I did try the Yamahas and found there to be no comparison. I was much more impressed with the sound and response of the Willson.
