Kenyon Wilson is doing a heck of a job down here in Valdosta, Georgia. He has few students at the moment, but he sure is giving them a great college experience. Dr. Brian Bowman is the marquee name in attendance this weekend. The other folks here for the weekend are Kozo Tackeuchi, euphoniumist in the Japanese Army, Keisetsu Chibe, tubist and visiting artist from Hokkaido Asai Gakuen University, Japan, Mark Sheridan-Ribideau, trombone from Millersville University, PA (former instructor at Illinois in Champaign Banana), Pete Madsen from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

They put on a recital tonight that was great. Dr. Bowman stole the show with his Fantasia di Concerto, Eduardo Boccalari. He's still got it! What a nice gentleman as well. It is my great pleasure to be assisting him this weekend. He is all about class.

Kudos to Kenyon!
