I have noticed that in recent times that horns are bought and sold all the time. My teacher has had 3 horns in his life and plays the same two he has had for almost 30 years. Those kids Rick is speaking of must be rich. My parents can't buy me a tuba. They definately cant buy me something, just to get me something else a year from now because i see it. For more and more priviliged kids horns are like currency. As someone that plays a school horn and best in the state, I am disappointed and ashamed in how most of the guys I know who own their own horns take it for granted.
