Sorry Tim, but every time that I slip up and get ANY type of oil or grease on a silver polishing cloth, it just becomes another "shop rag".

My goal is always to stay away from the ends of the slide tubes with silver polishing cloths (and I don't always succeed).

Incidentally, I know those 2-layered cloths are expensive. On the other hand, the "Herco"-quality cloths don't do any good.

For a low-middle price, I sell a blue-colored cloth ($3) that does very nicely. Admittedly, there is no outer "holding" cloth included, but a clean piece of flannel will do that job...

...Still, once it gets greasy, its "junk".
