Jay said the model number of my horn was 2927L (4 valve, compensating, in lacquer).

The interesting thing is this particular horn is wider front to back (ie more of a stretch for the left arm to reach the 4th valve) than the 3 others I've played, and, it appears, the horn in Eve's pictures.

This is a mystery to me. I wonder if it's a model 2927.5!!

It's a pity if Willson has stopped making these horns (except on special order). They are great to play: I was looking at getting another one (mine really needs someone with a longer left arm!)
