I have an old BBflat Conn tuba with 4 front-action valves and a 24-inch upright bell. I don't have the serial number at hand, but some earlier research I did indicated it was made in the mid 1920's. I was wondering if anyone has any info on this horn: rarity, value, etc. It's silver-plated (worn through in spots), in very good condition, and has a floral motif on the bell. I bought it from an old guy about 15 years ago who couldn't play it anymore - wish I had thought then to ask more questions about it. Oh - somebody at one time scratched the initials "AEK" on it.
