I have a new MW 2145. Looking down the bell, I noticed there is a 1/4" gap between the bottom of the bell and the top of the bow. This gap, of course, is not visible from the outside because the collar covers it.
Is this a manufacturing defect, and do I have basis for a claim? Or, is this standard for tuba assembly? In all respects, I love this horn and have no complaints about its tone or intonation.
