I think both of those two different CC bells are spun on the very same mandrel, so if the theory that I just concocted has any merit, I don't think that would be a good test of its validity.
What I am thinking about is that the OVERALL taper of a bell might (????) allow for schmatzier pitch...Well, here's one thing...Think about how much EASIER "false tones" are on fat bells than they are on skinny bells.
(certainly 'just guessin' and absolutely not pontificatin')
