The standard German military band uses two
Fs and two large BBbs.
The standard British brass band uses two Ebs and
two BBbs.
British military bands use Eb and BBb tubas.
The tour I did with Keith Brion's NEW SOUSA BAND,
our section consisted of two CCs and an EEb
and we recieved favorable comments from the band members.
I'm a big supporter of using the bass tuba along with the
contra-bass tuba in the concert band.
