Sorry for the confusion. The band version is in Bb major--so the highest note is Eb, and the orchestra is set in C major, making the highest note in the "tune" an F. This is rather unusual, for example the Strauss horn Concerto Op. 11 is transcribed for band into the same key as the original orchestra version. Tubby exists in both keys and players have to deal with learning these because it effects fingerings etc.
