A local theater her in Cleveland (I will not name it) is offering a version of "Annie" using canned music instead of live orchestra. There will be pickets (I'm joining them in about an hour)protesting the lack of live musicians. Being mostly a dixieland and polka hack, I must be out of the loop, legit orchestra-wise. You guys and gals in the pits- is this move away from warm bodies in the pit a trend across the country? I hope our protest helps to stem the tide, if it is!
