Here are my huge biases: I SELL Willson, and I've NEVER played a compensating Yamaha! ' pretty bad biases, but I think that I can still make this statement:
The Willson has one intonation flaw: a flat (albeit flexible) middle range Bb and A. The tone of the Willson is glorious throughout the ranges.
If the Yamaha 641/642 (whatever) sounds as good as the Willson throughout all of the ranges and has NO intonation flaws, it would be a better deal.
