I have had the privilege to hear Chester with the Boston Symphony and Pops Orchestras on live broadcasts and on many recordings. I don't think ANYONE can replace Chester Schmitz. NO ONE comes close to his world-class sound, technique, or musicianship. I will greatly miss him.
