Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with learning to "speed read." In layman's terms, I can't seem to read ahead of my playing to the extent that it would allow me to play faster sections (especially rapid studies) without stumbling all over the place. I have been told by some very fine musicians to read ahead of my playing and I just can't seem to do it. Would practicing slower studies using the "reading ahead" method help? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
