Drum-playing dad needs info for tubist son. I've searched the FAQs and archives and didn't find the info I was looking for. If you know of an archive post that will help, please send me the info. Basically, I'm looking for recommendations for a cost-effective BBb tuba for my 8th grade son (solid beginner- playing for 3 years). Don't want a poor quality tuba, but I can't afford $7000! What would you recommend, what would it cost me, and why would you recommend I spend that amount of money for the tuba you're recommending?
