While I do not know the exact price, UMI is planning on selling this horn at the same level as the old 2341. So, call the UMI dealer of your choice find out the price and figure that you'll be in that ball park. If nothing else give the guys at Dillon's a call and they will inform you.
As far as a playing comparison between the Conn 52/56 J, I don't have an exact answer all I can tell you is that from remembering playing the Dillon CC's that Matt W. had made from the old H.N. White Eb bells and king valvesets (the prototypes of the 52/56J) that this horn has the same playing characteristics.
