My experience with Custom has been that they'll be fairly honest with you about the products they have, but they're unwilling to say anything favorable about a product they don't have. As long as you keep that in mind, Custom should be fine. Vince at tuba exchange is the only one I avoid. The archives are cluttered with comments about him, so I don't feel it necessary to add my own.
