Performed it last summer and we had a local "Militia" of Civil War re-enactors come and fire some of their muzzle loaders at the appropriate time. They pre-loaded about a dozen rifles (without balls of course) and had them ready to fire ahead of time, due to the time it takes to load them. They may have had a few men reload some of them in order to fire them again. I obviously did not get to watch them do it since I was a little busy at the time! ken k again
