While reading numerous mouthpiece related posts, I noticed that many people are using the PT88 on large piston tubas. With its voluminous C shaped cup, I thought it was designed primarily for large rotary tubas. Any one care to elaborate?
BTW, I am not looking for a replacement to the famous Warburton-Neilan mouthpiece, only a possible addition to my tonal pallette.
