I played that instrument, too, and I think it had just about the mellowest tone of any horn I've every played. I also thought it was a 4/4. If it's a 5/4, then so is my York Master.
It may have even been a bit too mellow for me, but then maybe I had the wrong attitude by the time I got around to it. I'd already been blown away by the bigger Yorkenstein that was in Fedderly's booth.
I was standing there when Sean played it, and Matt adjusted the AGR to Sean's playing. That really made a difference on the horn.
