The Heiko Triebener recording is available from Interlochen - it was recorded in the summer of 1983. Interlochen can send you a tape of just that piece for a reasonable amount. I was the string bass player in the chamber group that backed Heiko up, and I can confirm that it is a good recording. Only knocks would be the lack of musical expression - everything seems kind of rushed (but hey, the guy was only seventeen). Weird story is, Heiko got me interested in playing tuba that summer, and by 1985 when I went back to Interlochen I was studying with Jerry Young. Now tuba is my principal instrument and the Bozza is my principal solo piece. Funny world...
