I'm just a former-Texan guy in Virginia who, as an engineer, designs, studies, and teaches about traffic management systems for a living. Fortunately, I'm better at that than I am at playing the tuba. My tuba-playing career, though marked by mediocrity, has received the warmth of great good fortune, providing a rich array of wonderful experiences that I hope are not over.
I also spend a bit of time on other avocational, such as photography and endurance sports. And I spend time talking about all of the above in cyberspace.
