Tell grasshopper that when he can play the Monti better than Pat Sheridan, and no longer sucks on reeds, he may call himself a tuba player. Until then, play circles around him. I don't know of many sax players that have the temperament or personality to be tubists. We should opt for probationary status for any soxophonist wishing to be called a tubist. Sounds like a jailhouse conversion to me. Besides, I think I'd rather hear 1812 performed by a tub & jug combo than listen to the inebriated babbling of a college sax player. I'm assuming he had liquor on his breath...
