I love the idea of removing the deadbeat slackers and getting a samll prgram for a few years and building it back up. During marching season a small few of us said very adamantly we'd rather go to contest as a really good A-size band than the current shape our AAAA band was in.
Then we found out that removing all the Dead Wood would reduce our program down to about 6 students.
