It was the Utah Symphony. All of the music was pre-recorded some weeks ago. Most of the instruments were student models purchased for the performance and then to be donated or sold at vastly reduced cost to school programs. The temperature was in the low 20's, the wind chill put it down to the single digits. Typical weather out here for this time of year. The sound was reasonable for the circumstance, a 60000 seat football stadium converted to Olympic venue.
