There are several William Schumann pieces that require a mute. Band and orchestra
Newsreel (orchestra).. has a couple of muted solo bars in it.... thats a really great piece by the way as is all of his stuff.
I think there is a recording of The Seattle Symphony playing this.. but i am not sure.
