I don't think that you will find Dave Fedderly and Steve Dillon importing ST Petes. If they liked them I think they would have already started importing them. They have been around long enough.
I do not think the bias is to the person. Rest assured Vince imported St Petes for the business oportunity and will keep selling them till something better. Custom sells the Sanders line for the same business opportunity.
Personally, I have seen alot of Chinese tubas, tried them out and the workmanship and the quality and the way they play do not warrant the price they ask as far as cost. They still ask way too much. With the US dollar still strong, german tubas are still a great purchase and King has the 2341 priced very competitively.
