on the 56J was amazing.
We played Army of the Nile, Suite of Old American Dances, Amperita Roca, and the 1st Suite in Eb (amongst others). It felt unbelievably good, especially the last soli of the 1st movement of the Holst. I've never felt as in control at that volume. And the low G just falls out. Bore schmorre. At .687, I don't see very many horns putting out the way this one does and getting the same sound.
When I play, I hear the sound that is in my head.
The 56J might not be for everyone, but it sure did the job today!
