5/4 Tuba w/4 pistons and thumb rotor (4 semitones), 20" bell, .770-.830" bore, and clear lacquer finish (100%) w/nickel silver trim. The horn is in excellent condition mechanically and cosmetically, with only a few small dings and some VERY minor damage sustained in shipping (bell-to-1st-branch brace is bent and partially pushed into bell, and bell side of bottom bow has a slight ridge detectable only when you lightly run your fingers across it). Soundwise, the horn is much darker than the typical rotary Miraphone and holds up well at high dynamic levels. In my opinion, a good large ensemble tuba.
