I agree with the others. The Miraphone is easy to play without providing any crutches, and interesting enough to be a challenging instrument for most adult players. It is also durable and maintainable, with readily available spare parts and lots of technicians with experience repairing them.
You did good. It took well into adulthood to be able to afford my own Miraphone.
