Hey Stuck in the Middle. The intonation problems will depend on the individual horn that you look at, not really the model or brand. If you like the 188 then put it to a tuner and find its tendencies and see if has problem pitches that are really out of the norm (ones that you cannot live with). And given a room full of 2145s you will find one or with fairly good intonation and one that you really love. You will need to compare these two horn (188 and the MW 2145) back to back to decide between them.
