well, it's not my favorite CC, but I have heard that they can be "tweaked" with great results. I found the one at TMEA to be stuffy and non-responsive. The piston valves on miraphones are nothing to go wild for, but the 1291 valves were great. I hope the production models are as good as that one. As for the 1295, I expect Miraphone to come out with a CC tuba based on the sucess of the 191/1291 line. If they do, and it has the qualities of the 191 combined with what I like about CC tubas, I will sell my Piggy in a heartbeat and buy one. Until then, Miraphone has a long way to go in the piston CC market. Sorry I can't be more excited about the 1295. I know there are people out there who are happy with them, and those people are probably hating me right now.
