One thing my teacher always says is that TENSION IS THE KILLER OF ALL BRASS PLAYERS. That's the only thing that separates the practice rooms from the ensemble rehearsal from the performances. TENSION. Just concentrate on keeping your throat and lungs open. Most often you will find that it's your upper back around the bottom of your shoulder blades and above that tense up and that cuts off your air. Try to think about that during your "game time" and it should help.
