"Ta-ee-ah-ee-ah" is really the only successful way to lip trill. It should change your tongue level only, not your jaw. If ta-ee-ah-ee-ah destroys your sound, you're doing something else wrong. Work on trilling middle Bb to D, D to F, or higher.
