I recently purchased a Besson 968 Euphonium (sn 870XXX) at a music store in Atlanta. The horn is in mint condition, but only had a gig bag - no hard case. I got such a great deal on it that it has started raising suspicions in my mind as to it's origins.
I checked with the local police and they didn't have any reports on file, but they also had to ask me how to spell Euphonium three times, so there search might not have been complete.
If anyone knows of any lost/stolen horns around Atlanta, let me know.
