a Sterling body was purchased by Andy Taylor, (of Taylor Trumpet fame) to attempt his trumpet design on a larger horn. Heavy weight Rose brass bell was attached. I purchased the instrument, sent it to Karl Humble in NM for some work. He lifted the lead pipe, rounded the crooks, and various other tweaks that he does to make horns play better. I then had the body silverplated, and left the bell unlacqured.
