I played both the 88+ and the 50+. I liked them both but the 88 seemed too big for me. The 50 rim seemed to work better for me. I never played the bach. I think you get a trial on the PT mouthpieces. You might call and have them send you one to try out. I think that is the only way to really know for sure which one you like. I used to think the heavy wall mouthpieces were just a novelty but the 50+ had some noticeably differences to me and were an improvement for me over the standard 50 which I used to use.
