A retailer in the Uk advertised carriage belts for Boosey and Hawkes and also for Beson tubas. Once I read that the small ball that was on the bottom large bow was made to fit in these belts for marching or standing and playing.
1. Do the belts hold the tuba by any additional straps?
2. Do they work alright? Or, is there a problem with adjusting them to the differing heights of people so the mpc is in a good place?
3. Is the weight supported by the body below the waist, or are there also straps going up to and around the shoulders?
Any comments would be appreciated. Bill
