I also have a 4/4 Rudy, and I used to think that it had a some what stuffy low range. I've discoverd that the problem was me not using enough air, or too much mouthpiece pressure. Use the Wes Jacobs exercises, or play bordogni down an octave for a while, and it will get better. Chances are, you won't be able to find a horn that plays everything the way you want, with out spending a ton of money. Even after that, it won't be good in all situations. So basically what i'm saying is, stick with what you've got, unless you've got about $30,000 to get you three really good CC's. Plus extra for some small horns.
