You can get good instrument insurance as a union member(AFM) if you use your axe professionally. Homeowners is fine- as long as you aren't a professional(for the student who does the occasional gig...I don't know)
Does anyone out there in tubenetland know of other ways to insure horns?
BTW, insuring about $15,000 of equipment costs me $220 a year against all loss(I think those #s are close, anyway). There's probably better deals out there to be found, I'm just too lazy to search.
