Hear, hear! I'm getting pretty sick of the kids coming home for the summer and doing the same thing in our municipal band. Not only do they muddy up the sound with the octaves, but they start demonstrating their improvisational skills by playing electric bass lines. Hey guys, occasionally blowing off a little steam during a rehearsal is easy enough to take, but let's stick to the ink for the concert. Next to the bass drum, we've got the most important job in the band!
