I'll add my two cents...

Any of the Empire Brass recordings with Sam Pilafian, especially the LPs on the Sine Qua Non label.

The Gabrieli recording with the Chicago, Cleveland, and Philly brass.

The Chicago Symphony Trombone and Tuba Section CD (available through Brian Frederickson).

Someone mentioned the Reiner CSO recordings. Mr. Jacobs playing is especially prominent on the recording of Alexander Nevsky, which was one of his favorite recordings.

I was glad to see someone below mention John Fletcher. I love his sound on the LSO/Previn recordings.

On a similar note, I have always enjoyed Ron Bishop's playing, and made it a point to buy every Cleveland Orchestra recording I could find, particularly during the period when Maazel was the music director. He is also on some of the Szell/Wagner recordings, along with Chester Roberts. The Ride with Mr. Bishop is amazing. The Fennell Cleveland Symphonic Winds recording on Telarc is also quite good (especially both Holst Suites).
