Hmmm. The even overtones line up with the overtones being played by the rest of the section. The odd overtones are the ones that are only heard in the player taking it down. What was it that I remember about a sound that is strong in odd-numbered overtones? I just can't dredge it up at the moment. Ken will remember (I hope).

I don't seem to recall the perfect fifth thing, but the medley wisecrack suggests a name. Yet another trick in a bag of tricks based on a complete lack of substance. I call it Clinician Disease, but I realize I'm probably falsely insulting a lot of people when I do it.
