here is how it looks now, after a good cleaning and a little repair. Not bad for $300. It plays almost as good as my old one (nothing could respond as fast as that one), but it plays much better in tune. Plus the old one was starting to show it's age for a 50 year old horn. This one is 40, but the valves are perfect.
The picture doesn't do the finish justice. It is better looking in person. I shoudl have wiped off the fingerprints before I took the picture.
