We're doing the Haas version of Bruckner 4 right now. The pedal C works okay for me. Like another poster said, make sure you don't whack it, let it be the natural conclusion of the chorale it follows. Of course, using a big Willson Eb like I'm doing on this work does make it a bit easier. ;-)
