One option to these to consider is the small Cerveny F tuba. I don't remember the model number, but they are in the Meinl Weston size range, but have a little more sound and a good lower register. Priced very well also. Matt Walter's knows more about these horns as does Lee Stofer. The Cerveny has rotary valves. BTW, well maintained rotary valves are just as quick as well maintained piston valves. I have owned horns of both and I really don't care what valves I'm moving as long as the right sound comes out of the bell!
