It?s not too late! I have openings available in the tuba studio for Fall study at Baldwin-Wallace College Conservatory of Music. There is also still substantial scholarship money available for students who act quickly. If you aren?t familiar with BW, we are in Berea, Ohio approximately twenty minutes from downtown Cleveland and Severance Hall, home of the world ? renowned Cleveland Orchestra.

The school is a small conservatory within a strong liberal arts college. Besides the standard performance and education degrees, we also have not-so-typical degrees in music therapy and arts management. There are many playing opportunities including two wind ensembles, symphony orchestra, jazz ensemble, brass choir, chamber ensembles, etc. Some of the recent orchestra concerts have featured works such as Sibelius? Second Symphony, Hindemith?s Symphonic Metamorphosis, Mussorgsky?s Pictures at an Exhibition and Wagner?s Overtures to Die Meistersinger and Rienzi. This week, as a matter of fact, they are doing Bruckner 4.

Although our pre-scheduled audition days are about over, we have a rolling admission deadline so you can still apply, audition and start in the Fall.

You can learn more at the school?s website, www.bw.edu

Please contact me via email at bmcelhan(AT)bw.edu for more information.
