Selmer U.S.A. brought these in to the U.S. in the 1970's. A friend brought one (a BBb) into my store today and asked me to fix it back up for him.
I forgot how well these played. (Clearly nicer resonance than the 186 fare, and just as well in tune.) If you see one offered for sale somewhere, they're worth a look.
(Yeah, I noticed the Schneider CC for sale on an auction last week. I have no idea how the CC's play. I only played one of those once when I was only 16 years old.)
