Thanks for all the comments. After reading your thoughts, I decided that I should encourage him to consider a BBb. I gave him the general arguments and told him that either way would be acceptable. Still, I am biased toward the CC and I let him know that. I also recommended that he talk it over with his future teacher. I will not get into why I prefer the CC because I don't feel like getting pounced by all the BBb'ers. I just like it better for a music major.
