I have a similar incident, but it wasn't as fun as a violin. We were playing the Typewriter in the orchestra. I went upstairs to grab an old typewriter that we just happened to have lying around. When I reached the bottom of the stairs with the huge, old typewriter, I tripped over a bass that was laying right next to the stairs. It fell over with a loud thud. I was lucky that there was no damage done to the bass.
That's my little story of the day.
